So last week I got frustrated because I wrote the longest blog ever, clicked the back icon, for some unknown reason and it wiped away and I couldn’t get it back. So I didn’t write another one for that week because I knew I wouldn’t be able to write another one as good as I had before it deleted. I don’t have an entry for last week, for this reason. But this week I chose to take into account what Jan has previously said and wrote my blog in a word document and copy and paste it into my actual blog. I wish I had listened earlier, instead of learning the hard way, but hey this is all a part of learning.

This week I got another rude awakening. In our lecture we were told by Jan and Craig that if we already have a facebook account then they suggest we don’t use that as our social network for assignment 1b as we won’t be able to reach our potential marks. I initially thought that using facebook as my social network would be simple. However, after I thought for a while, I wouldn’t learn anything from it and I wouldn’t get any sort of challenge out of it. So I decided that I wouldn’t use facebook anymore and I would use taste.com to cater for my sister’s birthday event.

During the lecture I got really confused and flustered because I didn’t know what Jan was talking about when she was talking about making a new tab on our websites and I was unsure what to put on the new tab. So I posted on the discussion forum for peer help. After I posted that I went on the companion website and found out what I was confused about. So now I know that the companion website is actually a great help. In future I will look at that and post on the discussion board as it is simple to post things on instead of getting annoyed like I have done previously.

I’ve been trying to work out this taste.com site and I’m learning new aspects in technology and I’m liking the challenge.
