Inconvenience >:-|
Today, I've gone onto the site that I am supposed to be peer reviewing to get it out of the way ASAP, BUT they haven't made a new tab on their website for me to review. This comes of great inconvenience to me as now I have to wait for the person to do it before I can critically mark it. I really want to just give them a 0 but I've got to use some sort of criticism, how am i suppose to do that if there is nothing to criticise.
I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else, because it's set me back for the day as that was my initial plans and now i'll have to find extra time during the week for it.
I've been accessing the companion website a lot lately and reading over the readings that are on there, some articles are really big eye openers and just through reading the article Open Thoughts on Software, Business and Life I have a semi further understanding of why people use social websites and how some sites are social. Not just for 'keeping in touch' purposes but for some sort of reputation maintainance and to share ideas (in blogs etc).
Considering we are currently doing an assignment on this particular topic of social resources, it has come to me that some of the sites that I have been on are actually social sites. I was constantly racking my brain, thinking how taste.com was a social cite, but it came to me once I had read the article that its about interests and being an active contributer which makes it social. This is my new learning strategy for the week. If im confused or unsure on something instead of getting completely overwhelmed and being on the verge of giving up, I'll jump of the handy companion website and before long i'll successfully find something with will help me, even if it is just a lottle bit of help, its better than none at all.
Now, I think i'll go on my peer review partners site once more before I log off my computer to see if she has done her social resource, fingers crossed she has!
Thanks guys..
